Whether you are managing a corporate box cricket tournament, an office league, or a local tennis-ball cricket series, running a player auction creates incredible pre-tournament excitement. By hosting the auction online, you automate purse deductions, slot limits, and bidding stats in real time.
Step 1: Set Up Your Room Parameters
First, open the Free Cricket Auction Tool. Enter your auction name, define the default starting base price for players, and configure your bid increment rules (e.g. bids rise by ₹1,000 up to ₹50,000, then by ₹5,000 beyond).
Step 2: Add Teams and Franchise Wallets
Assign equal starting wallets to all participating teams (for example, ₹1,000,000 or 10,000 draft points). This ensures a level playing field. In our free online tool, you can add up to 3 teams. If your tournament has 4 teams and you prefer an offline operation, you can download our Free Cricket Auction Excel Template instead.
Step 3: Load Player Profiles
Manually enter players with their name, role (Batsman, Bowler, All-Rounder, Wicketkeeper), custom base price, and optional photo. To save time, you can also format your rosters in spreadsheets and upload them in bulk using the "Upload CSV / Excel" button in the Teams & Players section. Step 4: Launch the Live Projector Screen
Under the Start Auction area, copy the Share Projector Link. Open this link on a secondary monitor, TV, or projector screen in the auction hall. The dashboard is backed by real-time cloud synchronization, meaning that as the host places bids or sells a player, the projector view updates instantly with sound effects and a voice announcer!
