Q. Is the free cricket auction software really free?
Yes! Our web-based Free Auction and downloadable Excel templates are 100% free to use. There are no registration fees, monthly subscriptions, or hidden charges.
Q. How do I upload custom player photos?
In the Teams & Players section, click 'Choose & Upload Photo' when adding a player. Select any image file from your computer or phone. Our system will automatically compress it to keep the file size tiny so that the auction board runs quickly and efficiently.
Q. How many teams can I add to the free cricket auction?
The Free Auction supports up to 3 teams. If you are hosting a larger league with more teams, you can upgrade to the premium PlayBid platform which supports unlimited teams, online registrations, live mobile bidding for owners, and advanced overlays.
Q. Do I need internet access to run the cricket auction?
Our website requires an active internet connection to load and run. If you are organizing a tournament in a stadium or hall with poor mobile network connectivity, we recommend downloading our pre-formatted Excel template to run the auction completely offline.
Q. How does real-time cricket auction sync work?
Open the Share Projector Link on a second screen, monitor, or projector. The auction display stays synchronized with the main auction screen in real time. This lets you display a clean bidder scoreboard, active player cards, and live bidding counters on the big screen, while managing the buttons privately from your host device.
Q. How do I import a player list from Excel?
We accept Excel files (.xlsx or .xls) or CSV files. Download our standard Excel Template, list your players with their category and base price, and click the 'Upload CSV / Excel' button in the Teams & Players section to import your player list in one click.
Q. Can I run a cricket auction online for free?
Yes. Our free cricket auction software lets you create an auction online, add up to 3 teams, add or import players, manage bidding, and display the live auction on a second screen without registration or payment.
